Statement of Faith

We believe…

  1. We believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God. (2 Timothy 3:16)
  2. We believe in only one God, existing in three Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 3:16-17; John 1:18; John 15:26)
  3. We believe that our Lord Jesus Christ was born of a virgin birth, lived a sinless life, died on a cross for the atonement of all of us, defeated death, was resurrected three days later, ascended to the right hand of the Father in heaven, and will return one day.

  4. We believe that there is only one way to heaven and that is through the acceptance of Jesus’ gift. (John 14:6)
  5. We believe that the Holy Spirit still works today and indwells in Christians to enable them to live godly lives. (Galatians 5:22-25)
  6. We believe in the blessed hope that is the resurrection of believers who have fallen asleep and the rapture of believers still alive. (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Romans 8:23; Titus 2:13)
  7. We believe in the Great Commission. (Mark 16:15)
